serious accusations there is a hacker named Havoc and he ruins games, he has connected twice to the games and can fly, he has aimbot and is "invincible" ... you know typical hacks, good game ;)
EDIT: After talking to them, I've concluded that they're just good at the game. In the following days, I'm introducing anti-cheat which will make hacking more difficult, so we shouldn't have to worry about it much anymore.
Game is great! Got a few of my friends to try, and we had a blast! (Hahah funni pun) could you possibly implement a headshot system? Or maybe make a separate color for the top of the default unity bean?

Go to Settings and turn your quality down the the lowest one. By default, the quality is medium now, and the realtime shadows are a bit worse for performance. If you set your graphics to the lowest, though, it will disable all realtime shadows which should boost your FPS. I was able to get the game to run at a smooth 60 FPS on my crappy laptop by lowering the quality and the resolution.
Downloading the game will also increase your framerate, and if you download you can set a downscaled resolution to make it run smoother.
Probably not. I like the balance right now. There's a gun for short range, medium, and long range, and they are all viable guns to pick from. You aren't at a disadvantage or advantage using any of them if you know how to use them correctly. Adding more guns would offset the balance and be a lot of work to maintain.
The other guns are perfectly as good. The sniper has little ammo and a long time between shots, which is plenty of time to kill them with the rifle or shotgun. Being good at using a sniper means you have to have excellent aim and reaction time, or you'll miss your first shot and die. It's balanced as it is.
The menu music was originally Werq by Kevin Macleod, which while good, is used in a lot of other media/games. I really wanted something unique to Redmatch. Also, Werq was the menu music in Redmatch 1, so it was nice to switch it up a bit.
By the way, the sniper zoom isn't new, I just set it as the default scope in the update. In the main menu go Customize > Weapons and you can set up any scope you want for any gun (this has been in the game for >6 months, people just don't seem to notice it)
Make sure that the end of your url has a file extension (like .png or .jpg). Otherwise it won't work. You can get the file extension by right clicking on the actual image on imgur and choosing copy image address. For yours, it would be https://i.imgur.com/MVtvbev.gif (please note that if you try to use a gif as a skin, I'm pretty sure it will just use the first frame)

Rugbugredfern, I found something weird. So, I joined a round and every 3 seconds I cant move and it stays to the movement I last like was moving. its like 3 seconds im fine then three seconds later I cant move. Please fix this if you can. Thank you!
Rugbugredfern, I currently do not have a mouse. So, for the next few days, I will be using my touchpad that is on my chromebook. For the people who does not have a mouse, can you add an aim feature to the keyboard???
Pretty sure they want to be able to actually look around with their keyboard, like using IJKL to move the camera axis while using WASD to move. I'd advise people to just use a mouse instead, just unplug it from your computer and plug it into your laptop when you want to play there.

I really love the core movement and shooting mechanics - it's some of the most fun I've had with just movement and gunplay in a shooter in a while. That being said, upgrades snowball to the point where whoever banks 4 kills in a single life first wins the game. It's fun with people on similar skill levels, but with random players it ends up being a little one-sided.
8.5/10, I'd make it so stats reset on a life but points don't (or maintain their penalty of -1) thereby making it less of a raw stats boost and more of a killstreak-style thing.
Please download the windows version to make sure your progress is saved. Saving progress with the browser version is a little fragile since it relies on you not clearing your cookies, not having certain blockers, logging in with the same browser, etc.
Please help. The game is not launching. There no message, nothing shows up. It just doesn't launch. I even tried launching it from the original file location but it still doesn't open :(

Actually, the sniper is op. Perfect aim, even when no-scoping. inst kill and perfect for all ranges.
so you kinda need to add more weapons if you want to keep the sniper as op as it is.

Redmatch 1 has battle royale (but not a lot of active players). The flying is getting a little extreme, I might tone it down in the update.

Great game but it takes awhile to load for me.
You can download the game for faster load times. The browser version will always run a bit slower, just because it's running in your web browser.

you can change the aim control just go to settings and where it says aim press it then press shift on your keyboard (hope this helps)
