My Changes for the Pass the Game Challenge (made in 24 hours)
- Added multiplayer (server based, no port forwarding required)
- Created a new map for racing
- Added a minimap
- Removed the AI
- Tweaked car parameters
- Tweaked post processing
- Reworked all UI including the HUD, main menu, and pause menu
- Added skid marks for extreme drifts
- Damage is now based on impact velocity
- Changed how particles look when picking up items
Game jams are starting to become a challenge to see how long I can stay awake for. It's probably not healthy. Believe it or not the hardest part was getting the lighting to work on WebGL (and getting the lightmaps to bake properly). It takes a long time to connect to the server and I haven't played it yet due to the connection time, but it looks fun

What multiplayer service did you use for this?
PUN 2. I made a tutorial series if you're interested. For an actual game release I would recommend using Steam's networking libraries, but for a game jam Photon is convenient.
